Frieda is a soft smear-ripened cheese with a russet coloured rind and earthy flavour. Over time this cheese will ripen to become pungent and oozy with her own distinctive funk. Equally enjoyable young or matured, let your nose inform your decision on when to enjoy!
Frieda should be matched with robust flavours to complement her sometimes feisty character. Pair with a hoppy IPA from your favourite craft brewery, or a full bodied Pinot Noir.
